This clip is of the first ten minutes of a collaboration between Tamasaburo and KODO entitled AMATERASU. It took place in 2006 at the Setagaya Public Theater as well as at the historic Minamiza in Kyoto.
There was a special run of AMATERASU in Tokyo’s Kabukiza in the summer of 2007 as well.
For those of you who don’t me, I am the one sitting in the front of the group of string and percussion instruments on the right side of the stage playing flute- not the flute player in the silver jumpsuit.
